You will have access to all relevant information in your personal area within the site and you will be able to find out who to send a reminder to. We'll take care of the thank-you: those who donate will receive a message from us!

Weddings and other ceremonies: make your big day even more unique by creating and sharing your wedding list in just a few minutes. Invite your friends and wedding guests to make a donation in support of our Schools. If you wish, you can even include the fundraisin campaign link in your wedding invitations.
Birthdays and parties: is your birthday or another special event coming up? Start a fundraiser for Still I Rise and turn your special moment into a moment of excellence in education! Create and share your fundraiser page in just a few minutes and ask your friends and guests for a truly special gift. Lead the way by making the first donation yourself!
Personal or sporting challenges: whether it’s a sports competition, a run, a football match, or a particularly tough workout, make your challenge even more exciting! Challenge your friends and family to help you reach your fundraising goal and encourage them to donate to spur you on even more. Don’t forget to keep them updated on your daily training progress!
Fundraising events: Do you work in a school? Schools are ideal places to organize fundraising events during the holidays (Easter egg hunts, Christmas dinners). Are you a university student? Organize an event like quiz nights, karaoke evenings, or sports days, and raise funds for Still I Rise. Once you start your fundraising campaign, we’ll send you an email with a link to download Still I Rise materials to display!
Other occasions (Graduations, retirement parties): if you wish, you can start a fundraiser for your graduation, a retirement party, or in memory of a loved one who has passed away. Even if you don’t have any specific occasion coming up, you can still choose to start a fundraisin campaign simply to support our mission.
What do I need to open a fundraising campaign?
To open a fundraising campaign you will need a title, a financial goal and a deadline. We recommend that you also add a personal photograph and a text explaining why you have chosen to support Still I Rise. A wizard will help you and all you have to do is personalise it with your message!
Our wedding was an opportunity to contribute to the education of unfortunate children and give them a better future.

FAQs
Can you give me some advice for my fundraising campaign?
Of course! When you complete the procedure you will receive an email with lots of tips, but in the meantime, here’s one:
Make your first donation, set a good example! Here’s what you can write in the description to start your campaign: ‘To reach my target of €1,000 I have already donated €20. Join me!’ or ‘To reach my target of €1,000 I am asking 100 people to donate €10’.
Can I ask that all donations to my fundraising campaign to be anonymous?
When you are asked ‘do you want to make your friends’ messages visible to everyone?’ click “no”: this way, donations will not be published on your fundraising page and only you will see who donated from your private area.
Are there any service charges?
Compared to other fundraising platforms, we do not retain any fees! There are only the transaction costs required by banks to withdraw donations.
How do I share my campaign with friends?
The page you create will include links to share your fundraising on social media. You will also receive by email (at the address you used for registration) a set of tips to start your campaign in the right way and a direct link to it to share with the people you want to involve.
Will my friends receive communications after donating?
Of course! Your friends will receive an email on your behalf from us as a thank you for their special gesture.
