A Peace Prize

Nicolò Govoni, CEO of Still I Rise, has been honored with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Peace Prize for “his tireless dedication to human rights and the education of refugee children.”

The announcement came on July 28, during the largest Muslim Convention in the UK, attended by over 40,000 people from 100 countries around the world.

The award, established in 2009 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, recognizes individuals or organizations for their contributions to the advancement of peace. Nicolò will receive the prize in 2025 during the National Peace Symposium at the Baitul Futuh Mosque, the largest in Western Europe.

“I was absolutely speechless when I received the news. I am deeply grateful for this incredible honor, not just on my behalf but on behalf of the entire Still I Rise family, without whom nothing would be possible,” Nicolò remarked after the announcement.

Still I Rise sincerely thanks for this prestigious recognition, which inspires and encourages to continue with renewed energy in the mission of changing the world together, one child at a time.
