After months of work, Still I Rise inaugurates the new Ma’an educational center in north-west Syria. The two-story building has eight classrooms, four of which are intended for lessons, and a beautiful surrounding garden.

It was an intense and unrelenting search. Last month, our team in Kenya toured all over Nairobi to look for the right building to be our school for refugee children in Africa. Now we finally found it!

The coronavirus outbreak is affecting the entire world with over 5 million people affected and 340,000 victims at the global level, according to recent WHO data. When the pandemic broke out in Europe, hitting Italy first and undermining its health and economic systems, we decided to find ways to give our contribution for the most vulnerable affected by this emergency. Here, all the initiatives we launched in Italy, our headquarter, as well as in the other countries where Still I Rise operates.
