What is the 100% model
When we founded Still I Rise, we made the commitment to achieve a goal that few others in the sector even consider possible: efficiency. For each euro raised, we pledged to allocate as much as possible to our programs and activities, minimizing management and fundraising costs. For years, we have succeeded in this. In 2023, for example, 95% of the funds spent were directed to our programs and activities, with only 5% used for management and fundraising costs — an excellent result compared to industry standards. But now, we’re going to do even better, directing 100% of donations to programs and activities, so that all donors can be sure they are making the great impact possible for the children they support.

How did we do that?
In 2024, for the first time ever, an anonymous family Foundation adressed a challenge to us: for every cent raised for building our new International School in India, the Foundation would match it to cover our long-term management and fundraising costs. We set a goal of €200,000 to be raised in five weeks. We raised €700,000. This means that for the next three years, 100% of Still I Rise's management and fundraising costs will be covered by the Foundation’s donation, ensuring that every single euro donated by our donors will only fund programs and activities, with no wastage.

Materials for association activities and projects, annual membership fees, various consumables, stamps, paper and stationery, travel insurance, currency exchange differences, employee annual insurance, active rounding, travel expenses, certification costs, volunteer reimbursement, expenses for teaching, training, and coaching.

Financial and Fundraising Costs
Bank fees, risk and liability provisions, expenses for regular fundraising promotion, postal services for regular fundraising, purchase of goods for regular fundraising.

Other Expenses
Other expenses for training and coaching, software licenses and IT support, translation services, other fees, other charges, minor assets, telephony and video communications, shipping, public hall rentals, volunteer insurance, legal-administrative-fiscal consultancy, other administrative services, representation expenses.
What will fund your donation?
We will allocate 100% of your donation to the construction and maintenance of our Schools around the world, including our food, health, and child protection programs. But that's not all. With your contribution, you also sponsor our valuable Research and Development work, which allows us to refine our teaching and educational techniques and share them freely with schools around the world, funding the continuous training of our teachers and those of the institutions we support. By donating, you will contribute to our legal, advocacy, and awareness-raising efforts, fighting alongside us for human rights at the institutional level. You will also support the reporting, accounting, and coordination work that makes Still I Rise one of the most transparent and effective organizations in Italy.
